Return Policy

Refunds and Returns
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with an item you purchased at MerlinsBox.com, you may return it to us in its original condition with a valid receipt within 30 days of the order date for an exchange or refund. We will not accept any returns without a valid receipt which includes an order confirmation, invoice, packing slip or gift receipt. Returned products must meet our requirements as outlined herein. Shipping costs are non-refundable and refunded only if the return is a result of our error.

IMPORTANT:
Before returning a product, please fill out our RETURN AUTHORIZATION FORM to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions. To fill out the RA form and print a copy of our return form, including instructions, click here.

  • The return must reach our processing center within 10 days of issuing the return authorization number. Return Authorizations expire within 10 days. A request for a new RA number must be submitted after the 10 day period.

  • The total return process can take 2-4 weeks (includes transit time and processing time).

  • You will receive an email notification once your refund has been processed.

  • Refunds are credited back to the original payment method. Gift returns are credited to the original purchaser’s payment method. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.

  • Some of our products are offered with free shipping, so please be aware that if you return one of these products our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund.

  • If there is an error on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for any applicable shipping charges.

  • Batteries and incandescent light bulbs (when included) are considered complimentary for demonstration purposes only and are not good cause for damaged or defective item claims, refunds or exchanges.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive the wrong item or an item that is damaged or defective please contact us immediately and we will instruct you on how to return it to us at our expense.
  • If you suspect your item was damaged in transit, do not discard the outer carton or packing materials.

  • Some products that include complimentary batteries are fitted with a battery saver tab. Please make sure this clear plastic tab is removed from the battery slot before submitting a damaged or defective item claim.

  • Since batteries and incandescent bulbs are complimentary, please test the item with new batteries or light bulbs before submitting a damaged or defective item claim.

  • Please note, if the item is tested by us and proven not be defective or damaged as claimed, all shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.
Exchanges
If you would like to make an exchange, you do not have to wait for the refund process to complete. Simply create a new order and return the original item as outlined herein. The original order will be refunded once we received and processed the return.

Returnable Items & Refunds
MerlinsBox.com accepts returns for the following items within 30 days of the purchase date accompanied by a return authorization:
  • Non-closeout / non-clearance items received unassembled in brand new condition in their original, unopened package (including original box, packaging, parts, accessories and paperwork) will be eligible for a full refund or credit of the product price less shipping charges.

  • Please note all shipping charges will be deducted from your refund or credit amount even if you received free shipping with your order.

  • Items returned that are not complete, show signs of use or not in resalable condition will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

  • IMPORTANT:
    Returning products to us without a return authorization number risks forfeiture of product.
Non Returnable Items & Partial Refunds
MerlinsBox.com does not accept returns for the following items:
  • Gift Certificates.
  • Gift wrap costs.
  • Shipping costs, unless the return is result of our error.
  • Dollar amount of promotional discounts or coupons.
  • Special orders including bulk orders or personalized items.
  • Closeout or Clearance Items.
  • Unassembled items that have been assembled.
  • Complimentary light bulbs and batteries.
  • For health reasons, personal care products cannot be returned.
  • Any item noted as Non-Returnable on its product page.
  • Any item not returned as reselable, not in its original condition, is damaged, has obvious signs of use, missing parts or paperwork will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Items returned more than 30 days after purchase date or after 10 days of receiving a RA number will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
